Sudhakar Rao - Evangelist
Is the minister for the Gallizerugalla Church of Christ in Bestawarpet, Mandal- Andra Pradesh, S. India. He is the son of a preacher and has worked in and among the poorer villages in Andra Pradesh since his youth. Sudhakar works among the people teaching the gospel message to the lost, assisting widows and orphans, and teaching reading and writing skills to the poor villagers who cannot afford the expensive schools that are provided by the state. He and his wife Nirmala, and their three children minister in many ways to the people in their village and the traveling preachers who come and stay and train to preach. Sudhakar and his family are dedicated servants with an excellent reputation among the saints in India, he has been preaching for 17 years.
Sudhakar organizes the work of 27 traveling preachers in his area helping to evangelize and assist 53 congregations of the Church of Christ in Andra Pradesh
Darrell is the Administrator/Fundraiser for Christ for India Missions and is a graduate of Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver. He has ministered, from the pulpit, to congregations in Colorado and Texas, most recently for the Hilltop congregation in Roanoke TX, and is currently the deacon in charge of Missions and Outreach for the Argyle Church of Christ in Argyle TX. He and his wife, Kim, are full-time House Parents for Christ's Haven Home for Children in Keller TX where they live and minister to the “Teenage Boys Cottage” and raise their own children as well.
Darrell has already made one missionary journey to India (Chennai, 2000), and will be returning in July 2007 for a three-week planned visit to distribute Bibles, bicycles, funds, and assistance while preaching at 53 different congregations in 18 days. Additionally he will conduct two preachers training seminars while in the Gallizerugula area.. He plans to make evangelism in India his full-time work, traveling and working among the villages and helping to raise support for native preachers in India. He has been preaching since 1999.
Kim is a full-time housemom and rides herd on up to seven teenage boys, plus one two year old “preacher in training,” Tyler. She helps where needed and is a tremendous source of strength and support for this work.
