SUNDAY
Bible Class 9:00 AM
The Argyle Church of Christ has a strong
commitment to God's written word. We participate in a wide array of interactive
Bible classes for all ages, where learning, love, and laughter are integrated.
The overarching objective of our Bible class is not to "download" facts but to
transform lives by growing us in -- faith, hope, love, forgiveness, and
friendship. We celebrate the rich diversity found within the pages of Sacred
Scripture while also boldly professing the doctrines and ethics in the Bible
that reflect the reign of Jesus Christ in our lives.
Worship Assembly 10:00 AM
Tim McGaugh leads us in worship each
Sunday. Tim is a gifted musician and vocal leader. It is our objective to
celebrate Jesus and to connect disciples with the presence of God
through our assemblies. He is the "Holy One" in our midst" (Hos. 11:9).
Hymns are selected to accent weekly themes, communion and the Biblical
message. Our morning assembly is generally 60-70 minutes in length.
Worship Assembly 6:00 PM
We do not treat our PM assembly as
"leftover church". While our PM assembly is generally shorter in length, it
also features a unique message, songs, and is more casual and intimate. We
continue to consider and explore other ways to connect families with the
living God on Sunday evenings (i.e. spiritual formation groups, etc.), but
currently feel that a Sunday PM assembly still serves this function.
WEDNESDAY
Wednesday Evenings 7:00 PM
We meet together in the middle of the week to
share in mutual edification through a devotional and Bible/ministry classes; we
explore ways to be faithful to God through Scripture and prayer. Every 1st and
3rd Wednesday evening (at 6:00 PM) we share in a meal prior to our devotional.
